There’s a new Hindhead drum studio offering drum lessons from drum teacher Matt Dean.

What is the Hindhead drum studio like?

It’s based in Beacon Hill, Hindhead and features both acoustic and electronic drum kits. This gives two different drum teaching options but also caters for all sizes and age groups so everyone can learn on a drum kit that is comfortable for them.

Because Matt also records drum sessions for artists around the world this drum teaching studio is also a recording studio and that means the acoustic drum kit is permanently miked up and ready to record. Students can enjoy access to these facilities which means they can learn to work in a recording studio environment.

The drum studio is powered by an iMac which is packed with recording software, drum backing tracks, and countless plugins which offer learning resources and sound libraries that are hard to find anywhere else. This means there is no limit to creativity whether we are composing music or jamming out ideas during the drum lesson. The Hindhead drum studio is unlike any other teaching facility you will find in Surrey or Hampshire.
